Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

This is a blue button (Porpita porpita), a striking marine organism that is often washed up on Boracay beach by the wind and currents. Although the blue disc with tentacles resembles a jellyfish, biologically speaking it is a colony of small polyps working together.
Characteristics and Risks
Mild sting: The tentacles contain stinging cells. A sting is generally not life-threatening to humans, but may resemble or share characteristics with mild skin irritation, itching or a burning sensation.
Do not touch: Avoid direct contact with your bare hands or feet, even if the animal is already lying on dry sand and appears to be dead
