About "Blue cushion - plant background pattern"

About the artwork

The picture shows a dense area of purple-flowered blue cushions (Aubrieta) that cover the ground like a living carpet. The small, four-petalled flowers stand close together and form an even, intensely coloured pattern. The green foliage shimmers through between the flowers, adding depth and contrast to the picture.

The inspiration for this work was the graphic effect of ground cover plants in full bloom. I was interested in how many small individual elements create a harmonious overall picture - almost like a naturally grown pattern. The aim was to capture this structure in a flat, calm composition.

The atmosphere is lively, but not restless. The picture invites you to engage with the repetition and the interplay of colour and form. The message is simple: beauty is often created through diversity on a small scale.

In interior design, this work is particularly suitable as a colourful accent in calm, modern rooms. It brings a natural freshness to living or working areas and works both as a large-scale wall decoration and as a decorative detail in combination with other botanical motifs.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
