The idea for this work arose from an interest in simple, physical processes that unfold a surprising visual complexity in detail. The focus is on the transition: from compact form to dissolution, from clarity to distribution. The choice of the colour blue was deliberate - it stands for depth, concentration and coolness.
The atmosphere is reduced and focussed. The picture invites observation without telling a concrete story. It conveys a feeling of stillness and concentration - like a frozen moment that slowly evolves.
In interior design, this work works particularly well in clearly structured, modern rooms. It brings visual calm and a touch of movement without being dominant. The combination of simplicity in the motif and richness of detail in the execution makes it a versatile design element.
