In autumn 2022, I made a photo project about spiders and their webs. Working with little depth of field and using a 100 mm macro lens creates almost mysterious images. This suits the subject well. We still know very little about spider webs, which are mysterious in themselves. But also the way the spider makes such a web is ingenious and very special.
I chose this subject to show that something like a spider's web is so beautiful. We often walk through it and find it annoying. By taking a good look at such a web, next time you might walk past it with a little more respect instead of through it.
