For me, the title "Bold Thoughts (I)" captures the wild, unfiltered flood of thoughts and emotions that bubble up inside each of us. The central motif of loud laughter, almost grim in its intensity, symbolises the liberating power of thought - the moment when you dare to cross boundaries, question conventions and release the chaos in your head. The bold thoughts are not tamed, but come unrestrained and wild.

For me, the colourful, multi-faceted faces and symbols that populate the background are a representation of the variety of feelings and ideas that are constantly buzzing around in the human mind. They are unpredictable in their expressions and colouring - some are smiling, some are grinning devilishly, others are dissatisfied, worried or even apathetic. This multitude of emotions and streams of thought represents chaos, but also the creative energy that arises when you are not intimidated by these thoughts, but embrace them.

For me, the face in the foreground, which is laughing, expresses a kind of crossing of boundaries - it is the letting go of inner censorship, the courage not to suppress bold thoughts, but to allow them in all their craziness. The symbols in the background almost seem as if they are exploding, bubbling out, without regard for order or structure. This pictorial composition stands for the radical acceptance of chaos and the realisation that the greatest creative power lies in the midst of this disorder.

For me as an artist, this work is a celebration of the mind and thought in its rawest form.
