At the very south of Corsica is Bonifacio - a town whose old center sits atop and against the edge of a massive rock, some 80 meters above the sea. It is quite a climb up from the port.
From several sides you can admire Bonifacio from a distance and it is all equally beautiful. In this photo you can see how close the houses are built to the edge of the cliff. The view of the Mediterranean is fantastic and you can even see Sardinia from this spot.
I like to make multi-layered photographic work. By combining several photos in one image a new reality is created with often intense colours and new perspectives.
