In nature reserve 'De Korendijkse Slikken' there has been this little Bosman mill for years. It is a small polder mill designed and made by Bastiaan Bosman since 1929 and you can come across these little mills all over the world.
The Bosman mill stands at the beginning of the nature reserve, a walk of no more than 15 minutes. Actually, here you are in the middle of polder where you enjoy the peace and only the sounds of nature such as birds and insects. I love it and go here regularly.
On a beautiful clear evening, I took this photo. You can just see the sun disappearing behind the trees in the distance. By the glow of the sunlight, you can still clearly see the water flow and the mill is exposed from the back, creating a nice silhouette that gives a beautiful image in the photo.
For this photo, I edited the colours of the sunset to make the image more exciting.
For this photo, I only used AI support to reduce digital noise (via Topaz DeNoise AI). All creative choices, edits and compositions were done entirely manually and by me.
