It sometimes happens that I go cycling without a goal and then I always take the camera with me (who knows, I might see something along the way) but I generally stay close to home if it is in the evening. Miles of cycling is not necessary for me.

With the beautiful sunsets, it is every time again to enjoy all the beautiful colours that pass by in the sky then. I find it fantastically beautiful every time.

Between the village of Piershil and Goudswaard, I sat down on the side of the road in the grass. Put down my tripod and tried a bit of everything with the settings on my camera. I also parked my bicycle on the side of the road. Put the tripod further away and moved a bit closer again. Just enjoying the moment.

Suddenly I got the silhouette of my bike in front of my lens with the beautiful colours of the sunset behind it. Wow, I thought, what a beautiful picture. A simple picture but really cool to see. The smudges you see behind the bicycle are clouds, which I deliberately did not remove.

In this photo I changed the colours from blue to green for a more exciting image.

For this photo, I only used AI support to reduce digital noise (via Topaz DeNoise AI). All creative choices, edits and compositions were done entirely manually and by me.
