About the artwork

Bow of a ship moored in the port of Delfzijl.

This bow of a ship in the dock after a paint job painted and made neat. The ship ready for the next voyage but still moored in the harbor.

The details in black and white photographed the bow the bulb and the small water detail gives a nice port image. The roughness of the ship, the rust that is still there, the calibration mark jumps out with the white numbers.

I photograph cargo ships in the harbor throughout the Netherlands. I also photograph the details of the ships, such as the calibration mark.
That is also port photography to me.

Raw and the port as it is, the people who work there. The images I see there I like to photograph because it is art in itself. The harbor is a different world. The landscape of the harbor is always changing. The ships, the people and the landscape continue to fascinate me.

Ship's Eyes_Port Photography raw and honest as the port itself.
