Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

Gentle waves break against an old, stone-paved breakwater, whilst the sun sinks just below the horizon of the North Sea, bathing the sky in a rich orange glow. Delicate, feathery clouds drift across the upper part of the frame, shifting in colour between warm gold and cool blue. A single wooden post rises from the lapping water, providing a calm, vertical focal point amidst the churning waves. Taken on the western beach of Norderney, in the district of Aurich, Lower Saxony, this image captures a classic, powerful sunset on the East Frisian coast.
