This unusual, "molar" world map shows our planet as seen through the eyes of, or rather in the imagination of, a mole: from below. The continents are mirrored and hollowed out in digital bronze. Also, the reddish-brown, earthy color of the work fits well with the experience of this primarily subterranean mammal.
Moles do not have the best eyes and are better at digging up molehills than they are at making maps. But if they were to make a world map it would look like this
