About the artwork

The Brooklyn Bridge, completed in 1883, is one of New York's most famous landmarks and a technical masterpiece of its time. It connects Manhattan and Brooklyn and was the first steel suspension bridge to be built. Its impressive design, characterised by massive granite pillars and a network of steel cables, makes it a popular photo motif.

A walk across the bridge offers a unique perspective of the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty and the East River. The view is particularly impressive at sunrise, when the bridge is bathed in warm light, or at night, when the city lights glitter.

The promenade in the centre of the bridge is reserved for pedestrians and cyclists and offers a safe way to experience the architecture up close. In recent years, the bridge has been renovated several times to preserve its status as a landmark.

With its rich history, cultural significance and iconic appearance, the Brooklyn Bridge is far more than just a transport link. It symbolises the progress and innovation that make New York one of the most fascinating cities in the world. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
