It is springtime in central Finland. A mother Brown bear walks with young in a bog with flowering Cotton-grass (Eriophorum). The mother bear looks intently into the distance, but it is unclear what is attracting her attention. Is there anything in sight that might bring danger? After all, the cub, standing in front of her, is still so small that all danger should be avoided. The cub seems unaware of any danger and probably just wants to play.
