About ‘Buddha's Blooming Reflection’ by Emil Husstege

This painting shows a serene Buddha, deeply rooted in meditation, holding a gently glowing rose flower in one hand and a delicate lotus flower in the other. The combination of the two flowers symbolises a harmony of earthly love (represented by the rose) and spiritual purity (represented by the lotus). The background, shrouded in hazy shades of blue, adds a dreamy atmosphere that draws the viewer to a place of peace and reflection.

The inspiration for this work comes from my fascination with the peace and balance exuded by the Buddha, as well as my love for flowers and their deeper meanings. I wanted to create an image that represents the duality of life - the earthly and the divine, the temporal and the eternal.

The mood I wanted to capture was one of serenity and deep contemplation. I wanted the viewer to feel lost in the moment, floating between the here and now and the eternal. This work was created at a time when I was searching for inner peace and reflection.

In terms of technique, I used digital painting techniques to emphasise both the delicacy of the flowers and the solidity of the Buddha's image, creating a contrast that balances the whole piece.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
