This photo of a bunny with burning candle is from a series on child loss.
I used as little colour as possible in the photo, to capture the stillness.
In the photo, time seems to stand still, may not pass. The candle in the photo will burn forever in memory of the child or baby that is not here, or never will be.
I chose a white bunny, seen from the back because to me it radiates loneliness and sadness.
The space around the bunny and the candle represents the emptiness that exists after the loss of a baby or infant.
The white background makes the candle seem to radiate little or no warmth, as the coldness of loss is immense.
