The castle wall of Burghausen Castle, the longest castle in the world, stretches from the main castle to the powder tower on the opposite hill, the Bergerhof. To the north (right), the Wöhrsee lies quietly in the valley between the hills. A flock of sheep graze on the castle slope, and locally produced wine grows nearby. From the south (left), the setting sun is almost behind the wall, bathing the scene in golden evening light.
