A view you don't find everywhere. Burghausen's old town is idyllic, colourful, almost like something out of a fairy tale, at the foot of the longest castle in the world. The main castle is magnificently staged from behind by the setting sun, fighting for the mood of the situation with the dark cumulus clouds rising above the town. The Salzach, and thus the state border with Austria, flows almost unnoticed in the foreground.
