About the artwork
In this picture, the orderly meets the wild - a silent dialogue between technology and nature. The black and white delineator towers like a silent sentinel at the side of the road, functional and sober. And yet it is nature that dominates the picture: a sea of wild flowers, grasses and colours - untamed, free, full of life.
The road bends gently to the left, as if bowing to the sea of flowers. In the background, shadowy trees, electric poles, houses - signs of human presence that almost fade behind the luminous foreground.
This motif tells of the beauty of the accidental. Of the delicate rebellion of wild flowers that need no plan to grow. Of the magic that happens when you lift your gaze and realise that even the roadside can be a place of wonder.
A brief moment on a long journey - but one that lasts.
