This picture shows the Café Im Palmenhaus in the Burggarten in Vienna. The Hofburg in Vienna has two gardens, the Volksgarten, which was always open to the public, and the Burggarten, which was originally reserved for the imperial family. As in the summer palace in Schönbrunn, a palm house was also built in the Burggarten to protect the tropical plants in winter. Today, the centre of this building houses a coffee house, probably one of the most beautiful coffee houses in Vienna, which invites you to linger, especially on a summer's day.
This picture is from my series 'wie gemalt' and is edited in the style of a painting.
