About ‘Camels and Pyramids’ by Aydin Adnan

A camel herder moves his flock from one side of the pyramids at Giza to a pen where they are kept when not in use. Camels are the main form of sightseeing at the pyramids in Egypt. In this photo are visible 6 of the many pyramids with The Great Pyramid as the centra focus. Capturing the camels was a stroke of luck, I had already taken quite a few photos of the pyramids and I had begun walking back towards the main complex of the site when all of a sudden I heard the thumping of footsteps in the sand and snorting of camels. I immediately ran towards a spot where I had composed a shot of the pyramids earlier and waited for the exact moment that the camels crossed in front. This photo was the result of pure luck and being at "the right place at the right time."

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
