Just a stone's throw from Ghent, you'll find the beautiful Castle of Laarne. More than 700 years ago, the first stone of a medieval castle was laid here. The pointed round towers and impressive square donjon date back to that time.
In the course of the centuries the castle was thoroughly renovated and in the 17th century it had become an attractive summer residence or maison de plaisance. Today it still breathes the grandeur of that time. Exceptional furniture, tapestries, paintings and Claude Dallemagne's European silver collection make for an unforgettable visit.
Landscape photographer and drone pilot Koen Henderickx will gladly take you on a discovery of the most beautiful places, both close by or a little further away.
His mission is to introduce people to the beauty of nature, from water, the land or in the sky via drones.
