This beautiful cathedral is 1 of the eye cathers of 's- Hertogenbosch.
St John's Cathedral is located in the city centre of Den Bosch.
The Sint - Jan is a structure that is completely unique in Dutch ecclesiastical architecture.
The Sint - Jan stands at the corner of the Parade and the Torenstraat.
I have also often photographed the Sint-Jan from this vantage point.
But personally, my preference is to capture the Sint-Jan at this point.
In my opinion, it creates a different dynamic.
The old stones on the road surface combined with the bridge led you to the beautifully lit
cathedral.
Always difficult to take a photo without people or cars's on it.
Again, patience was a virtue. Especially as I wanted to capture it after dark.
I wanted to render the streetlights in star shape so that meant a small aperture.
This meant I needed a very long shutter speed and therefore a much higher chance of someone appearing in my image.
In the end, it worked out and I was able to take this photo.
My biggest hobby is photography.
I prefer to let my camera out every day in search of beautiful pictures.
I like morning photography best. Preferably a beautiful sunrise combined with a hint of mist. I can really enjoy this...
