About the artwork
The Moerputtenbrug in 's-Hertogenbosch The Moerputtenbrug, also known as Moerputtspoorbrug, was a railway bridge in North Brabant across the peat lake "Lange Putten" in the later Moerputten nature reserve. It was part of the Langestraat railway line. Since the turn of the century, the bridge has become a pedestrian bridge that is part of "Het halve Zolenpad". I like the photogenic spot and enjoy coming there.
The bridge creates a nice play of lines, I like the perspective. I go back to this bridge more often to take photos of it because the colours of the sky are different every time. I also like to try out some different viewpoints. In this photo, I chose a low viewpoint. I liked the patterns of the grid and the perspective.
Next to the bridge is a somewhat marshy area. There are also many geese flying around you when you are taking photos there. Furthermore, it is also a nice walking route and then you imagine yourself abroad when you walk over the wooden decking through the marshy part. This bridge is also very popular with wedding photographers. I can understand that.
