Acrylic and mixed media on canvas If I could make one wish, I knew it. I would become a circus artist.
I admire that: people who exude art from head to toe and give their best, even if it is for barely twenty visitors. Unfortunately, it is often the case, the popularity of the circus ebbs away. As a visitor, you know then that there must also be a bitter side. What does it do to an artist to give of himself, day after day, when there is little understanding of this way of life. Not only for circus artists is this so. Also for other performers. And not just for performers, but for anyone who chooses to walk their own path. Yet there is also a positive message: There is always someone who understands you and can give the perfect answer to your questions. One friend in an otherwise empty tent can make it all worthwhile.
