About the artwork

Holiday 2023 in Tanzania. How wonderful to be able to photograph this beautiful animal in its own habitat.
Lying on a termite mound, waiting for prey to pass by.

The cheetah is adapted to hunting with a short, very fast sprint. It is slim, flexible and muscularly built, like a greyhound, with a powerful chest, a long tail and, for a feline, very long legs, with which it can push off hard. A cheetah's bones are light and flexible, and it has a relatively large heart and lungs.

The cheetah generally hunts during the day (early morning, early evening). They usually first keep an eye on the surroundings from an elevated spot like a rock outcropping, a fallen tree or a termite mound. The cheetah mainly hunts small and medium-sized antelope such as thomsongazelle and other gazelles, impala, springbok and kob. The cheetah stalks the antelope with its head down until it is about 30-10 m near its prey, after which it tries to catch it with a short, very fast sprint.

The cheetah is the fastest land animal in the world.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
