One of the highest waterfalls in Malaysia is located in a remote district of Dungun, Terengganu. As part of the state's green heritage, Chemerong Waterfall offers a good hiking spot for all outdoor and hiking enthusiasts. The waterfall is 305 metres high and looks like a giant human figure. Depending on your hiking experience, it can be reached by one or two hours of jungle trekking. Once visitors reach the waterfall, they have the option to follow hiking trails to a nearby mountain, Mt Berembun, and also visit the Langsir waterfall.
