Scottish Highland Cattle is an ancient breed of cattle that was originally only found in Scotland and the Hebrides. Since targeted cattle breeding has been practised in Great Britain, i.e. for about 200 years, this breed has existed in unchanged form and without cross-breeding with foreign blood.
With its decorative horns, which can reach up to 1.60 (and even more) in span, and its exceptionally long hair, it captivates every onlooker.
With its long coat it is absolutely winterproof. Rain and wind cannot penetrate the natural fur, even snow remains on the insulated coat.
