About ‘Chemical Dance’ by Joke Gorter

"Chemical Dance" – A nod to the technique and the way the pigments react with one another.
This is a stunning example of 'acrylic pouring' (also known as fluid art). This technique is known for the organic, almost magical way in which colours and shapes merge on the canvas.
The most striking feature is the countless ‘cells’—the round and oval shapes that appear throughout the work. These are created by chemical reactions between paints of different densities (often enhanced by a drop of silicone oil). The cells range from tiny dots to large bubbles with multiple layers of colour, creating immense depth and layering.
The work buzzes with energy thanks to a powerful contrast between warm and cool tones. On the left, we see a fiery orange that enters the image like a liquid stream. This transitions into a rich palette of magenta, fuchsia and deep purple. The black background acts as a ‘void’ that makes the colours appear even more intense and luminous.
The composition is reminiscent of natural processes on various scales: from microscopic biological cells under a lens to a colourful coral reef or even a distant nebula in the cosmos.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
