Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Chimpanzee looking @ the Camera’ by Eddy Smets

The picture shows a chimpanzee nibbling with concentration on a branch. The animal has its lips slightly pursed, its eyes fully focused on the piece of branch resting between its hands. The natural texture of the branch comes into sharp focus, while the soft bokeh in the background gives the scene a dreamy, almost magical atmosphere. The soft, faded colours of the surroundings allow the chimp himself to come fully to life, emphasising his expressive face and subtle movements.

The bokeh creates a beautiful contrast between the chimp's vivid details and the serene, blurred background. The different shapes and colours of the bokeh seem to blur the natural world around the animal, giving the impression that the chimp is completely in his own world, undisturbed by everything around him. This contrast between sharpness and blur not only gives the photo visual depth, but also reinforces the animal's connection to its natural environment.
