About ‘Christmas’ by Jolique Arte

In The Keeper of Winter Worlds, an enchanting spectacle unfolds in which realism, magical symbolism and a touch of modern conceptual art come together. The work shows a woman in a deep red winter cloak, her back to the viewer, looking at a Christmas tree composed of glass spheres - each filled with a miniature world. The whole thing feels like a silent encounter between man and cosmos, a moment when time seems to stand still and the winter air gently breathes.

The red cloak, heavy with fabric and decorated with sparkling snow crystals, creates an intense contrast with the cool winter landscape. The undulating folds suggest movement, as if the wind is gently pulling at the edge of the canvas. The viewer is naturally placed behind her: we see what she sees, we feel what she feels, and so we become complicit in the silent ritual taking place in front of her.

The Christmas tree, composed of transparent globes, forms a powerful symbol. Each globe catches the light as if it kept its own universe. It is a silent reference to connectedness, to the fragile beauty of our planet and to the human need to understand - or at least admire - the bigger picture. The artwork invites interpretation: is she the keeper of these worlds, or just a passer-by marvelling at what is bigger than herself?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
