About the artwork

A close up watercolor portrait divided into two temperaments, one warm and one cool. Coral and crimson blossoms unfold across the left side while teal and violet leaves glide over the right, meeting along the nose bridge to create a calm axis. Transparent washes reveal paper texture and fine lines define lips and contours so the symmetry reads cleanly on a bright ground.

The work grew from studies about emotional balance in color. I laid broad wet on wet passages to let pigments wander into floral forms, then used glazing and dry brush to sharpen petal veins, leaf edges, and tiny highlights around the mouth and chin. The soft fall of color at the base suggests motion without disturbing the centered calm of the face.

The mood is meditative and graphic at once. From a distance the split palette delivers a strong statement for contemporary interiors; up close, layered blooms and subtle textures reward slow looking. It is a refined piece that pairs botanical detail with a poised, symmetrical composition.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
