One of the most beautiful parts of Europe can be found on the northeastern border of France and Germany; a region that has changed nationalities many times. Today this area is French, but the German influences are still evident in the architecture, the bakeries and restaurants, local customs and dialect.
While driving an unforgettable road trip along the vineyards, I regularly stopped by all kinds of cute little villages. This particular village had its church perched in postcard-worthy fashion on a hillside full of vineyards. It was just a matter of finding the right perspective.
