Moddergat is a photogenic piece of the Wadden Sea on the Frisian coast where you can be treated to a special light. Moreover, the coastline is full of stones, rocks and shells in all kinds of patterns. A beautiful and unique piece of nature and that 'just' in the Netherlands.
The most striking piece of Moddergat, is this long row of wooden poles in the salt marsh. While taking pictures here, I noticed how the setting sun created a silhouette of this construction. A great moment to capture.
