A beautifully situated white hall church on a raised churchyard commissioned by the abbot of Aduard in the late 14th century. The roof spire is younger; 18th century and renewed in 1831. The interior with its green-painted flat-beamed ceiling is defined by the work of Groningen sculptor Caspar Struiwig. Inside the church, in addition to a beautifully carved pulpit, you will find many fine carvings on the men's pews. The heavy supper table comes from the Iwema Steenhuis.
