With this work I don't have a fixed image in mind. You can see in it what you want. The image is created on an emotional level.
This abstract work is inspired by the work of Peter Kremer (1971) and Joseph Albers (1888-1976).
Simple forms and strong colors form the basis of their work.
With this work I wanted to create a strong and simple image that feels pleasant at the same time.
The circle is one of the strongest shapes (if not strongest) that we are automatically attracted to. And this is reinforced by the contrast with the rectangular red shape.
So color and shape contrast combined.
In all my work (web design, graphic design and media design) I make frequent use of abstract and simple forms. Together with color these are strong building blocks for a beautiful composition and image for your wall.
