Circuit map Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

by Sidney van den Boogaard

Along the Red Sea waterfront of Jeddah's Corniche, this street circuit races between concrete walls at speeds few city tracks have ever seen. Opened in 2021, it packs 27 corners into just over six kilometres, many of them flat-out kinks where the walls seem to close in. The anticlockwise lap barely lets you breathe: a blur of fast bends, a banked hairpin and a long run back beside the sea. Under floodlights, the coastline becomes a glowing ribbon. Fierce and relentless, it suits a wall that likes some drama.

This work is part of the Circuit Maps collection: the world's best-known race tracks, each drawn from the real layout and finished in the same calm, graphic style. Along the bottom you'll find the lap length, number of corners, opening year and direction. That makes it easy to combine your favourite circuits as a pair, a triptych or a full gallery wall.

The map was designed digitally. The track is drawn from OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors), checked for length and direction, and finished with a paper texture and a screen-print effect. Sponsor names have been left out on purpose.

A great gift for any racing fan, for the study, the man cave or above the desk.
