"Close-up of a piece of natural fluff ball" is a macro photo of a small part of a large fluff ball of a Tragopogon (in the Netherlands, this plant is also called a Morgenster.
This plant is very similar to a dandelion, when the flower has finished flowering it turns into a fluffy bulb, each fluffy bulb containing a seed.
When taking this photo I chose a shallow depth of field, if you zoom in on the photo you can see this clearly. The focus of the photo is on the heart of the fluff which is roughly in the centre of the work. From that point, the sharpness gradually decreases rapidly towards the front and back. This creates a dreamy atmosphere in the picture and a sense of depth.
This work has mainly brown, woody colours, beige, cream and dark brown.
This work could hang beautifully in the bedroom, study or hallway, for example!
