In a field of clover, covered in dewdrops, nature shows late in the year how beautiful and green it can still be.
On my everyday walk in my home town, I look for small patches where nature shows its beautiful imperfections amidst the man-made structures.
What I personally love about this photo is the deep green colour in the leaf, the chaotic pattern in which the leaf of the clover appears, the details of the veins and texture of the leaf and the contrasting water droplets on the leaf with the dark background from which a few blades of grass still shoot up.
In this photo, I have tried to create a somewhat cool and dark atmosphere, emphasising that the autumn in which this photo was taken is darker and colder than the bright and colourful spring and summer.
Ever since I was young, I have been involved in photography a lot, partly thanks to my grandfather. He was always taking photos himself and he gave me my very first compact camera. After practising a lot with the compact camera, I switched to more serious work.. Read more…
