About ‘Cochem on the Moselle - Panoram’ by Frank Herrmann

Cochem is the smallest district town in Germany. Situated in the picturesque Moselle valley, it is nevertheless a tourist hotspot because of the Reichsburg castle and its historic old town centre.
Cochem was already settled in the times of the Celts and Romans. It was first mentioned in a document in 866 as Cuchuma or villa Cuchuma.
