About "Collage on the 50s and 60s"

About the artwork

This collage about the 50s and 60s tells a whole story. That story is told through the objects found in this work. Starting with that big classic car in the foreground. They don't make them like that these days. Next to it is an old television, a black-and-white one, because colour did not exist back then. The floor lamp the standing one and the one on the TV also tell a similar story. The telephone in the corner of the book is also one of those days. With this phone you could still really put the receiver on the hook. The little birds up there might be singing something from the sheets of music falling down there. In those days, music was very innovative and very important. The performers were important and enjoyed making music together themselves. To the right of the book, which perhaps tells the man's story, a man in a typical mackintosh and hat disappears into the next decade. The big sun reflects the warmth and cosiness of the time. A collage on which there is much to see. The colours of this work are orange, yellow, blue, brown and white.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
