About ‘Collective Presence, Becoming Together’ by Anouk Kulaleen

Becoming, together

In Collective Présence, the grey sky symbolises a world that often feels heavy and unsafe, especially for women. A world in which threat and vulnerability are present, sometimes visible, sometimes subcutaneous.

Against this backdrop, girls appear in distinct colour. They are women in the making but for now they are watching.
Their beautiful colourful dresses bring vibrancy, strength and softness at the same time - as a statement of dignity as well as hope. Their presence is silent but unmistakable. They stand together, not facing the world, but in it.

This work explores how collectivity can be a source of strength. How beauty, colour and connection are not naive, but necessary. In being together, space is created for protection, for dignity and for a future in which women need not stand alone.

Collective Presence invites us to look at what becomes possible when presence is shared - as a gesture of solidarity, and as a reminder of human resilience.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
