About ‘Colmar in Alsace, France’ by Adelheid Smitt

Colmar is perhaps the most famous city in French Alsace. It is an attractive place with many colourful half-timbered houses that attract many tourists. Besides Strasbourg and Mulhouse, it is the largest city in Alsace. Located in an area that has belonged to both France and Germany in history, the city is a combination of the two in terms of style and culture. Colmar lies at the foot of the Vosges Mountains and in the middle of a large wine-producing area. It is close to the banks of the Rhine.

I got my first camera on my 8th birthday. Now, many cameras later, I have ended up with a 'full-frame' mirrorless camera and my passion for photography has become an important part of my life.
I travel a lot, all over the world, and like to photograph landscapes as well as cities in the blue hour. I hope that my images can inspire you and I would love it if my love for photography can finally make it to your wall.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
