Corniglia is one of the five "Cinque Terre" villages in Italy. The villages lie on the Mediterranean Sea and are known for their beautiful colourful houses on steep rocky slopes. I took the photo with an analogue camera, which creates vibrant colours with a warm vintage feel.
The colourful cottages on the rocky slope overlap nicely with the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean. There are cosy terraces between the cottages and the green trees and shrubs create a natural, rural feel. It gives the atmosphere of a relaxing Italian summer!
