Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Colour fields of the Zeeland countryside’ by Werner Lerooy

Around Zonnemaire, the Zeeland landscape takes on an almost graphic quality. The farmland is strikingly flat and stretches all the way to the horizon, with different crops and soil types coming together to form a colourful pattern. Green, brown and golden-yellow expanses run side by side like brushstrokes in a vast natural painting.

It is precisely the absence of dramatic changes in elevation that makes this landscape so special. The flat structure lends the scene a profound sense of tranquillity and clarity, whilst the variations in colour and texture provide ample diversity. From this perspective, it becomes clear just how carefully the landscape is shaped by agriculture and the changing seasons.

The image is recognisable as typically Zeeland, yet at the same time possesses a universal quality. The large areas of colour and clean lines make the photograph almost abstract, whilst the agricultural fields remain clearly recognisable. This creates a pleasant tension between the concrete landscape and pure form.

As a work of art on the wall, this photograph brings space, colour and a sense of openness to an interior. The work appeals both to lovers of landscape photography and to those who appreciate graphic and minimalist compositions. A calm, clear image in which the Zeeland countryside unfolds almost like a modern painting.
