Summer fruit: a cantaloupe melon, nice orange in color with ripe, purple figs.
The cantaloupe melon is named after a place in Italy, where it was first cultivated in Europe. But originally very much older: in Iran it was first cultivated some 5000 years ago! This melon is slightly ribbed and grey/green in color, the flesh is orange and sweet and juicy.
