About "Colourful towels for a Portuguese building"

About the artwork

I love colour, so I was surprised with the amount of colour I found in Portugal. Not only in everyday things like laundry, but especially in the buildings. If a building is not painted in pink, orange or yellow, it is tiled in azulejos, the typical Portuguese tiles.

During a city walk, I came across this colourful combination. Not only do you see the typical Portuguese tiles in the background here, but a beautiful colour palette of green, orange and red which is so typical of southern Europe. You see these colours pass by in different gradations and the matt green and orange go well with the bright red.

This work not only brings colour into your home, but also shows you that beauty lies in unexpected things. Especially when you put a number of things next to each other that don't seem to fit at first, an exciting play of colours emerges. You don't have to look for it, it exists in combining what is already there.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
