Colourful scene at a height of four metres. Walking through streets in search of striking images, it surprises me every time how extraordinary facades can be executed. Whether in my own hometown, a small village (like here) in the French Ardeche or a metropolis like New York. There are such gems to be discovered everywhere. I look for colours, patterns and characteristic elements. They then remind me of that one special moment in a city or village, sometimes complete with the pride of the inhabitant in question. Rarely are you disappointed when looking at a city or village from four metres up!
