I was looking for shapes and compositions by just drawing and the shape of the jug intrigued me. Building on that, this digital work of a still life was created, minimalist, austere but a cozy image because of the cheerfully colored flowers.
Of course it fits seamlessly with my botanical artwork, but with the, for me exuberant accent colors I tovh stepped somewhat out of my comfort zone.
It's minimalist and clean, with the colorfulness of a summer meadow. It would fit well as an eyecatcher in a minimalist interior, Scandinavian or Japanese....
My work is inspired by nature, flowers and plants, all the beauty Mother Earth gives us. My personal tribute! Let's be careful with all that beauty, and use it with respect and love, nature can do very well without us, we not without nature

I was always drawing ー as early as primary school, the margin of my notebooks was full of scribbles that didn't have much to do with what was supposed to be there. A lot of nature, especially flora.
