Here I am
In this macro photo, a crab seems to be lifting a piece of seaweed as if it were a weight. It expresses strength and determination, almost like a weightlifter on the dike. The background with blue and purple undertones enhances the mysterious atmosphere and emphasises the whimsical, but above all wonderful life from the sea.
This is no average picture: it is a sculpture full of symbolism, in which nautical elements come together with the beauty of the unexpected. A work of art that both intrigues and inspires, inviting you to see the sea as a place of stories, magic and timelessness.
It reminds me of the following quote:

Water may be older than light, (...) forests appear in mid-ocean, it may happen that a crab is caught with the shadow of a hand on its back, and that the wind be imprisoned in a bit of knotted string. And it may be that love sometimes occurs without pain or misery."
- Annie Proulx, The Shipping News

I hope my art ends up with someone..
