The wood of old doors is weathered and damaged, yet it tells a story of decades of exposure to sun, wind and rain. This picture shows a close-up of an old wooden door with a padlock. The door appears not to have been used for years, but the padlock holds the past and protects the secrets behind it. The rusty, weathered padlock is a symbol of this door's history and the stories it could tell.I found this door during my trip to Crete, Greece. The country is known for its ancient doors and this one is no exception. The weathered wood texture of the door and the padlock give the photo a raw, authentic look. What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
